The name
of my school is Mohanty Patna Jagannth Pur high school (MJHS). It is in village
Mohanty patna under Jajpur district of Odisha. During my times there were five hundred
students and 10-15 teachers. There are 10-15 rooms in the school. Most of the rooms
are for classes, one common room is for the teachers and the one big room is
for the Head Teacher. The results of the school were good. All the teachers of
our school are very friendly and helpful. They are high qualified teacher. They
taught us with pleasure. They loved us like their own children. There is a big
play ground in front of the school. I love my school very much.
My school
began by 10.30 am and closed at 4 Pm. First thing was to do the Morning Prayer.
After the morning prayers, pass around to our respective classrooms.
We began
our classes for the day. Each period was for about 45 minutes and we had about
one break that was called Lunch break at 1:30 to 2 Pm. Our teachers are all
very nice and teach us well with the subjects that they teach. During the break
time, we also play around and take rest.
Apart from
the regular classes, we also have other activities in the school like games
which includes basketball, football, volley ball and many more. During some
days we play our choice of games during these periods. We also had the Drill
periods where physical exercises were being taught. It was real fun during
these periods, as we learnt so much of creative things with great fun.
We also
have cultural activities conducted in the school. For every festival we would
be having competitions based on the theme. These cultural activities takes
place with lots of fun and excitement and almost all students participate and
compete well to be the famous.
We have
the annual day and sports day, where lots of cultural items would be played. We
have a great array of games and great athletes in schools who shown their
talents and compete in different games for sports day.
Our school
gives great values not only for academics, but also for every other aspect of
life and makes us into a more responsible and creative thinker. I love my
school very much and would love to be there. I would definitely miss my school
days once I leave this great institution, which has made me what I am for today
and for tomorrow.
